06/2017: Facebook removed the (above) linked post.
8 months of links and info vanished without reason!

After 4 years, EdRacing.com has outgrown the 1 person maintaining it,
especially with Facebook deleting information I was compiling.

With support the site will remain hosted as is.

My iRacing setups
Easy link to tell others: edracing.com/setups

Skip Barber: go to my Setup-Skip page for current information.
For all cars: try Nick Thissen's Setup Database http://iracingsetups.nickthissen.nl.

NOTE: Due to lack of feedback, I stopped updating this page.

A "good setup" in the Skip is less important than good driving and driver inputs.
Some guys on the (Skip) forum will indicate they run the same setup all season.

My sets are more conventional this 'build'. Higher SPO and higher ARB.
Previous build I generally preferred negative SPO and lower ARB.
A lower SPO can still be more forgiving (and more fun with understeer).
For races, my first few laps are safer on higher tyre pressures (no more than 22psi 152kPa).
These days I probably wouldn't run more than 21psi (145kpa).
Lap times (no draft) are for my reference.

My 2014s1 Skip Barber setups below:
Steven: Read the text below the track names, put that data in your car's garage.
The "forum thread" is the Skip community weekly track guide.
You haven't found me in a race because I have more than 1 account.

* A flashing yellow box in garage is only a guide to indicate setting near the limit. Red would fail tech.
* My fuel load: 11 litres (3.1 gallons) unless stated otherwise.

Weather: 26c. W @ 5 kph. RH 50%. Partly cloudy.
56% bb. 152 kpa (22 psi) all tyres. 5 spo. 7 arb.
For less understeer on corner track out, try 158 kpa (23 psi) on rear.
With these settings I'm achieving low 1.22s with the occassional 1.21 on a 20 lap test run.
